Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Lead Glazier to join our team and elevate our glass installation and fabrication projects. As a Lead Glazier, you will be at the forefront of managing complex glazing tasks, supervising team members, and ensuring the highest standards of craftsmanship on every project. Your expertise will drive efficiency, safety, and quality in all aspects of glass work, from blueprint reading to precise installation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead by example in a fast-paced construction environment, inspiring your team to deliver exceptional results. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate glass installation projects, ensuring timely completion while maintaining safety and quality standards Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise glazing solutions Oversee fabrication and manufacturing processes related to glass and aluminum framing components Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to cut, shape, and install glass panels, fixtures, and trim Perform heavy lifting safely during glass handling and installation tasks Manage construction estimating for projects, including material quantities and labor requirements Ensure proper use of scaffolding, ladders, and other access equipment for high or difficult installations Conduct quality inspections on completed work to meet project specifications and client expectations Maintain detailed documentation of project progress, safety compliance, and material usage Requirements Proven experience in glass installation with a strong background in construction site work Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and fabrication techniques Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, metal stud framing tools, and construction equipment Knowledge of construction estimating processes and material procurement Familiarity with fixture installation, cabinet mounting, door hanging, trim carpentry, remodeling, and handyman tasks Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods during large-scale projects Strong understanding of safety protocols related to working at heights and handling hazardous materials Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively on busy job sites Valid experience in construction painting or finishing is a plus Demonstrated ability to read technical drawings such as schematics for fixtures or custom glass projects Prior experience with metal framing or drywall installation is advantageous Join us as a Lead Glazier where your expertise will shape stunning glass solutions while leading a dedicated team.
