This is a hands-on manufacturing position for someone who is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working with production equipment, tools, materials, and established manufacturing procedures. Prior membrane or water-treatment experience is not required. We will provide training on our specific products and manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities Perform day-to-day manufacturing and production activities according to established procedures and production schedules. Operate production equipment and tools safely and consistently. Prepare materials and components for manufacturing and assembly. Perform coating, material handling, assembly, rolling, finishing, and packaging operations as required. Assemble components and finished products according to specifications and work instructions. Inspect materials, components, and finished products for quality and conformance with specifications. Perform routine production and quality-control measurements and document results accurately. Identify and report manufacturing defects, equipment problems, or deviations from established procedures. Assist with troubleshooting and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. Clean, maintain, and organize production equipment, tools, and work areas. Maintain accurate production records, batch records, inventory information, and QC documentation. Assist with receiving, organizing, and tracking raw materials, components, and production supplies. Support equipment setup, preventive maintenance, and routine production-line adjustments. Follow established SOPs, safety requirements, and quality-control procedures. Work closely with engineering, R D, and quality personnel as new products and manufacturing processes are introduced. Assist with preparation and packaging of products and equipment for customer and field deployments. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical, vocational, associate's, or other relevant training is a plus. Experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, fabrication, laboratory operations, mechanical work, or another hands-on technical environment. Good mechanical aptitude and ability to work comfortably with tools and production equipment. Ability to follow written procedures, work instructions, drawings, and established manufacturing processes. Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent product quality. Ability to take accurate measurements and maintain clear production and quality records. Basic computer skills for entering and reviewing production information. Ability to learn new equipment, processes, and manufacturing techniques. Good organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating effectively with a production and technical team. Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to maintain consistent quality in repetitive production activities. Preferred Qualifications The following are helpful but not required : Experience in membrane manufacturing or membrane element assembly. Experience with coating, roll-to-roll processing, chemical processing, adhesives, composites, films, or similar manufacturing processes. Experience with reverse osmosis (RO), nanofiltration (NF), ultrafiltration (UF), or water-treatment products. Experience working with pumps, tubing, fittings, pressure vessels, or fluid-handling equipment. Experience with manufacturing quality control and inspection. Experience working with production equipment, automated or semi-automated machinery, or manufacturing lines. Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, or other continuous-improvement practices. What matters most is that you are reliable, mechanically capable, comfortable working with your hands, able to follow processes consistently, and attentive to quality. Active Membranes is transitioning its manufacturing capabilities in-house and scaling production. This position offers the opportunity to join that process early and work directly with the team developing and manufacturing a new generation of membrane technology.

$25.06 - $30.18 per hour
