2987668376-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Durez Corporation, a leader in thermoset molding compounds and phenolic resins, seeks a 3rd Shift Production Operator. In this role you will operate and monitor manufacturing equipment, follow batch instructions, and perform quality checks to ensure safe, consistent production of advanced materials for automotive, electrical, and industrial applications. You will handle raw materials, maintain accurate production records, and follow strict safety and environmental procedures. Working nights in a collaborative, continuous improvement culture, you'll support process reliability and contribute to ongoing product and process innovation. Responsibilities Operate and monitor production equipment on 3rd shift to safely manufacture thermoset molding compounds and phenolic resins Follow detailed batch instructions, setup, start, and shut down machinery according to standard operating procedures Perform in process quality checks, record production data, and adjust equipment to maintain product specifications Handle raw materials and finished goods, including weighing, loading, unloading, labeling, and staging for shipment Adhere to all safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards, including use of PPE and proper handling of chemicals Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and promptly report mechanical or process problems to maintenance or supervision Participate in continuous improvement, 5 S, and lean activities to improve safety, quality, and productivity Work collaboratively with team members and shift leads to meet production schedules and customer requirements Required Skills Production equipment operation Batch processing Quality control testing Basic mechanical troubleshooting Chemical handling and safety PPE and OSHA compliance Data recording and documentation Forklift or material handling Reading SOPs and work instructions5 S and lean manufacturing basics
