Spherion Gainesville, FL has an industry-leading client seeking a Bio-Tissue Processor Technician for an immediate opening in a state-of-the-art clean room environment.
This is a chance to develop highly technical skills in tissue processing, sterilization, packing, and quality inspection within a supportive, team-friendly setting.

Pay Range:
$18.25
$19.
25/hour
Schedule:
2nd and 3rd shifts available
Responsibilities:
Prepare safe, quality grafts while strictly maintaining aseptic technique.
Verify sterility and calibration of all equipment and supplies prior to use.
Accurately complete all written and electronic documentation for processing and cleaning activities.
Precisely read measuring instrumentation (ruler, caliper, etc.) for processing tasks.
Adhere to all safety precautions when working with sharps and cutting equipment.
Measure, label, and package tissue accurately per standard operating procedure (SOP).
Prepare tissue and environmental samples for testing according to SOPs.
Perform line clearance and final quality inspection of processed tissue and paperwork. ...
Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and disposal of all biohazardous and non-biohazardous waste.
Prepare chemicals in appropriate ratios for processing and cleaning.
Handle other duties as assigned.

Skills:
Effective written and spoken communication skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Proficiency in basic math (addition, division, subtraction, multiplication)
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Education:
High School Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
General knowledge of anatomy (required)
Lab experience (highly preferred)
