Position Overview The Lead Supervisor (Lead Technician) is responsible for leading all on-site operations, executing high-quality exterior cleaning services, and managing field technicians. This role operates as the primary field authority, ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards without direct owner supervision. In addition to operational execution, this position plays a critical role in revenue growth through on-site customer engagement and upselling additional services. Core Responsibilities Field Operations & Service Execution Perform and oversee all exterior cleaning services, including: Pressure washing (commercial, residential, industrial) Soft washing (roofs, siding, delicate surfaces) Window cleaning (low and high access) Gutter cleaning Graffiti removal General exterior property maintenance Review daily job scopes and ensure accurate execution Adjust methods based on surface type, environmental conditions, and site constraints Ensure proper use of equipment, chemicals, and cleaning techniques Deliver consistent, high-quality results across all job sites Crew Leadership & Management Lead and supervise technicians on-site Assign roles and responsibilities for each job Train new hires on systems, safety, and quality standards Monitor team performance and enforce accountability Address and resolve on-site issues immediately Maintain a productive, professional work environment Revenue Generation & On-Site Upselling Actively identify opportunities to increase job value while on-site Inspect property for additional service needs, including: Additional surfaces requiring cleaning Preventative maintenance opportunities Recurring service potential Communicate recommendations clearly and professionally to clients Provide on-the-spot pricing (as per company guidelines) or coordinate with office Secure approval and execute additional work where possible Document all upsell opportunities and outcomes in the company CRM Contribute directly to increasing average job size and overall revenue Quality Control & Standards Enforcement Perform detailed final inspections before leaving each site Ensure all work meets Gorilla Property Services standards Immediately correct deficiencies or incomplete work Maintain consistency across all crews and job types Health & Safety Compliance Enforce all company safety policies and procedures Conduct site hazard assessments prior to starting work Ensure proper use of PPE at all times Safely operate ladders, lifts, and equipment Report and document incidents, near misses, or hazards Customer Experience & Communication Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients Communicate clearly before, during, and after job completion Handle customer questions, concerns, or change requests Ensure client satisfaction prior to leaving site Represent the brand professionally at all times Equipment & Vehicle Management Maintain organization and cleanliness of vehicles and trailers Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance Ensure all tools, chemicals, and supplies are stocked Report repair or replacement needs promptly Job Tracking & Reporting Utilize company CRM systems (Gorilla Pro) to: Review schedules and job details Track job progress and completion Upload before/after photos Record notes, upsells, and job changes Report daily production metrics to management Document any issues, delays, or scope changes Productivity & Time Management Ensure jobs are completed within allocated timeframes Optimize workflow and crew efficiency on-site Reduce downtime and unnecessary delays Align labor hours with job estimates Qualifications At least 3 years' experience in exterior cleaning, pressure washing, or property maintenance Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred Strong understanding of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and techniques Valid drivers license with a clean record Experience working in physically demanding environments Ability to attend a Working at Heights Training Core Competencies Leadership and team management Strong work ethic and accountability Attention to detail and quality control Sales awareness and confidence in upselling services Problem-solving in real-time environments Customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently without supervision
