Job Description

Process Operator Overview:
This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the process and equipment Duties & responsibilities: Operate equipment and machinery Maintain good operating condition of all equipment. Identify and trouble shoot issues with the equipment and process. Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning and sanitation of equipment, and routine inspections to ensure a safe and clean work area. Work with minimal supervision to maintain the process flow and meet or exceed production schedules. Keep precise records of production, quality, and environmental impacts in daily log. Pull in-process and finished product samples and ensure that they are delivered to the lab in a timely manner. Perform work in accordance with all safety and environmental rules and regulations. Report near misses or actual incidents through the Incident Reporting Procedure. Assist with the handling, storage, and flow of finished products through the process, warehouse and applicable packaging areas. Assist other Process Operators throughout the plant when problems arise.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent is required. Post-secondary education is a plus. Valid Driver's License is required
Experience:
Previous manufacturing experience is a plus. Previous fork truck experience is preferred. Experience with Microsoft products, including Outlook, Excel, and AX is desired.

1st Shift $18/hr. put with potential at 3 months to $19.
