5/40 Rotational Roster — Night shift, 5:00 PM•1:00 AM, Monday•Friday.
CONTRACT TERM
18-month contract with a high likelihood of extension/conversion to full-time.
INTERVIEW PROCESS

RESPONSIBILITIES
•Entry Level Biodiesel Operator, Loader I Operate and monitor company plants and facilities, typically Upstream facilities after primary separation and processing (such as gas and co-gen plants) and Downstream & Chemical refineries and plants. Monitor process variables, troubleshoot, and perform interventions to maintain operating performance. Perform routine tasks independently, under general supervision for non-routine work. Load/offload finished products and raw materials from tankers into storage tanks. Process paperwork for each load, manage the overall schedule, check trucks in and out, and send emails as needed. Use an automated computer system that tracks pump connections throughout the shift. Work alongside truck drivers throughout the day, maintaining a courteous attitude and accurate documentation at a fast pace.
Complete housekeeping duties to prepare the site for the following shift.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS HS
Diploma or GED. Entry level; 0-2 years of experience required. Some experience in a manufacturing setting. Basic knowledge of operating pumps and valves. 1+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting (pumps, hoses, valves, tanks, connecting trucks to fuel pumps). Good computer skills, including experience with basic Microsoft Office tools; comfortable learning new computer systems. Valid driver's license. Willing and able to troubleshoot, with attention to detail (billing, inventory, tracking shipments).
Must have steel-toed boots; Chevron will provide additional
PPE. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Basic knowledge of Chevron policies and practices is a plus. Forklift experience is excellent to have — certification will be provided onsite, but prior experience is helpful. Prior plant or manufacturing operator experience. Experience with shipping and receiving, including documentation and strong communication skills. Experience loading and unloading liquid products (tankers, railcars, truck scales).
Experience handling hazardous materials.
ONBOARDING REQUIREMENTS
Onsite safety orientation and site-specific hazard training / forklift certification (provided onsite). Background check. Drug screen. Education verification.
