Job Summary:

We are seeking a Weekend Chemical Manufacturing Operator to join an innovative manufacturing company, specializing in the production of high-quality blended materials dedicated to producing materials in a safe and efficient environment while fostering sustainability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence, and skilled workforce that drives our success. You will follow established procedures to handle materials, operate equipment, and complete packaging tasks. This role is suited to a careful, dependable operator who values safety, quality, and teamwork.

Responsibilities Include:

Set up, operate, and tend to machines used for mixing or blending materials. Monitor the mixing process to ensure consistency and quality of the product. Maintain equipment, conduct regular checks, and address any potential issues promptly. Follow safety protocols and procedures when handling chemicals and explosive ingredients. Document production processes and maintain accurate records for compliance and quality assurance. Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow respiratory protection requirements for assigned tasks. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's) include:

Essential:

Manufacturing or industrial chemical handling experience; ability to follow detailed procedures, perform basic math, and adhere to safety requirements. Relevant vocational training is a plus. Experience in operating mixing or processing machinery preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions. Familiarity with safety regulations related to chemical handling a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications and Requirements Needed:

Must have HS Diploma or equivalent (GED) Must be a US Citizen Ability to pass a background, physical, and drug test

Environment Requirements:

Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must be able to wear protective safety equipment if required for the position such as masks, goggles, lab coat, and gloves.

Pay:
