This position is in Cargill's protein and salt business, w we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.

Employee DiscountsPrincipal Accountabilities
Accurately input performance and production downtime data into the system
Collect product samples and conduct quality checks in accordance with established standards
Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to support material handling
Use end loaders to fill salt hoppers, load trucks, transferring salt into inventory
Perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to reduce downtime
Re-palletize and properly dispose distressed products
Execute changeover procedures
Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications
Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written
Basic computer skills
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE
Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without a reasonable accommodation
Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
Experience operating a front-end loader
Experience operating forklifts
Experience working in a production related work.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP
