Back Lease Operator - Nights Lease Operator Contract To Hire 11606 Sep 23, 2026 Hobbs , New Mexico Lease Operator - Nights Join a Leading Energy Organization as a Night Lease Operator! Are you ready to take on a vital role in the energy industry that keeps operations running smoothly after hours? As a Night Lease Operator, you will be at the forefront of maintaining and optimizing production equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations across our facilities. This is your chance to contribute to a top-tier midstream company while working a rewarding night shift schedule.
What You'll Do:
Operate and monitor equipment such as compressors, valves, vessels, and pumps to maintain optimal performance. Oversee emergency shutdown systems, troubleshoot unusual operating conditions, and perform minor maintenance on production equipment. Manage process controls, measurements, and ensure safety protocols are strictly followed. Generate and maintain daily reports and logs, schedule tank liquid handling, and respond promptly to call-outs. Contribute to creating a safe working environment and uphold the highest safety standards.
Required Skills:
Proven experience working in cryogenic processing facilities or related environments is highly preferred. Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills. Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Office. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with a proactive approach. Valid driver's license with a good driving record. High school diploma or GED; some college or technical training is a plus. 1+ years of oil and gas industry experience is preferred. Nice to
Have Skills:
Experience with emergency shutdown systems and process control technology. Knowledge of math and analytical processes related to operations. Previous experience in a cryogenic processing facility.
Preferred Education and Experience:
High School diploma or GED required; technical training or college education preferred. At least 1 year of oil and gas or related industry experience.
Other Requirements:
