Job Summary:
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Production Operator Support is a hands-on, essential role at Nutrient Survival, supporting the production of our, nutrient-dense food products. You'll prepare ingredients, operate equipment, maintain cleanliness standards, and ensure every batch meets our high standards for quality and safety. You'll report directly to the Senior Production Supervisor and play a critical role in supporting our production lines as we grow. As a Production Operator Support team member, You will own it, your workspace, your attention to safety, the precision of your measurements, and your contribution to the team's daily production goals. You'll learn new skills, operate equipment, maintain food-grade standards, and help build the production foundation that scales with our mission. Key Responsibilities Section A - Food Production Support 1. Prepare, pour, weigh (metric and standard), blend, and assist in mixing sequences of food products 2. Read and follow recipe formulas ensuring all ingredients have been correctly compiled 3. Assist in visually inspecting food for consistency in texture, clarity, and quality 4. Ensure product measurements and weights are accurate to maintain shelf life and freshness 5. Seal packaging accurately and consistently to meet quality standards Section B - Equipment Operation & Maintenance 6. Learn to assist and operate designated equipment levers and controls to perform manufacturing operations per SOP/Instructions 7. Learn how to read and interpret gauges, vacuum, pressure, and temperature levels 8. Assist in inspecting plant equipment for leaks, blockages, proper function, and/or other malfunctions 9. Learn and become skilled in operating the packaging lines and its full functionality 10. Learn to operate heavy equipment such as a forklift, pallet jack, and floor cleaners as training is provided Section C - Facility Cleanliness & GMP Compliance 11. Support the maintenance of the plant and facility to GMP standards by sweeping, mopping, cleaning, and/or sanitizing floors, production equipment and parts, utensils, work surfaces, countertops, walls, windows, racking, desktops, scales, etc. 12. Become skilled in cleaning the packaging lines equipment and production room following food-grade standards 13. Wear PPE as required and/or instructed at all times Section D - Documentation & Quality 14. Record, calculate, and verify data accurately, ensuring complete and clear GMP documentation for each batch or operation 15. Assist in collecting, testing, packaging, and providing production data support for each food batch or operation 16. Ensure all production records meet regulatory and company requirements Section E - Team Collaboration & Growth 17. Work effectively as part of a dedicated production team 18. Participate in on-the-job training as required, including cross-training in other departments to meet business needs 19. Meet production goal demands and support the daily production schedule 20. Perform other duties as assigned, including flexibility for overtime, and schedule adjustments as business needs require Requirements and Competencies 1. Attention to Detail & Following Instructions ? Ability to read and follow written recipes, SOPs, and work instructions accurately ? Ability to record and verify data with precision for GMP documentation ? Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow instructions in English ?

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time ? Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms, twist, bend, stoop, and squat ? Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 50 lbs. ? Moves with purpose and sets pace proactively ?

Warehouse work, landscaping, construction, food service, retail stocking, military service, or any physically active role 3. Food Safety & Cleanliness Standards ? Willingness to learn and apply GMP and food safety standards ? Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace consistently ? Ability to wear and properly use required PPE ? Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow chemical instructions and material safety data sheet ?

Restaurant or food service work, janitorial or facilities maintenance, healthcare, or any environment with strict cleanliness and safety standards 4. Equipment Operation & Mechanical Aptitude ? Willingness to learn to operate production equipment, the packaging lines, and powered industrial equipment as forklift training is provided ? Ability to identify and report equipment issues such as leaks, blockages, or malfunctions ? Comfort working around machinery in a manufacturing environment ?

Manufacturing, construction, military operations, agriculture, automotive, or any hands-on mechanical environment 5. Teamwork & Reliability ? Ability to work dependably as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment ? Willingness to participate in cross-training and take on new responsibilities as needed ? Flexibility to adjust schedules, work overtime, or support other departments when required ?

Any team-based work environment including retail, food service, military, athletics, community organizations, or volunteer work 6. Basic Math & Data Recording ? Ability to perform basic calculations to verify weights and measurements both metric and standard ? Ability to accurately complete production and GMP records ?

Any role that required tracking inventory, recording data, handling measurements, or working with numbers
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required within the current calendar year Skills and demonstrated ability matter most
Preferred:
Prior experience in food manufacturing, food service, or a production environment Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, or food safety standards Prior forklift certification or experience operating powered industrial equipment Experience working in a regulated or quality-controlled environment 6-12 months of experience as a Limited-term Production Operator Support, etc.
