Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Compounder / Production Technician with a strong background in batch manufacturing. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who already understands the fundamentals of compounding and batch processing and can become productive with minimal training. We will provide training on our specific products, equipment, and procedures, but the right candidate should already be comfortable following batch sheets, weighing and adding raw materials, operating industrial mixing equipment, and producing batches accurately and consistently. We are looking for someone who is dependable, mechanically capable, attentive to detail, and able to work independently. An experienced compounder should also be able to recognize when a raw material, batch, or process does not look right and raise the issue before proceeding. Experience Required Hands-on experience as a compounder, batch maker, or similar manufacturing position Experience following batch sheets, formulas, or manufacturing instructions Experience operating industrial mixers or other batch-processing equipment Ability to follow established procedures while recognizing and reporting process or material abnormalities Background in adhesives, coatings, chemicals, paints, inks, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, or another batch-processing environment Ability to work independently with limited supervision after training Physical Requirements Lift/move items up to 65 lbs regularly Wear a half-face respirator when required Stand and maintain physical stamina through the shift: reaching, bending, using hand tools Reliable transportation
