As a Coater Operator, you'll oversee the daily activities in the coating work cell, ensuring high-quality production and efficient operations. You'll work closely with your team to manage coating, compounding, laminating, and testing processes that meet strict quality standards. Your leadership will help keep production running smoothly by directing the activities of the Coater Helper and Trainees. What You'll Do As a Coater Operator, you will be responsible for Maximizing the production of high-quality coated products in the work cell Loading and unloading webstocks and bulk rolls using a forklift or other equipment (OSHA forklift license required) Performing unit set-ups and quality checks to ensure product meets specifications Coating, laminating, or compounding materials according to established procedures and standards Troubleshooting and resolving production issues to minimize downtime and material loss Cleaning and preparing equipment for the next production run Completing accurate production paperwork, recording times, scrap, and inventory movements Leading maintenance and engineering activities as needed Maintaining order and organization within the work environment What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have Experience operating forklifts and ability to obtain OSHA certification Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity for setting up and operating equipment Ability to read rulers, calipers, dial indicators, and other measuring devices Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality Good communication skills and teamwork mindset Physical ability to lift objects up to 100 pounds, stand, walk, and perform manual tasks throughout the shift Why Join Us in Bedford?
