Southeast Cleveland Responsibilities/ Duties:
Tends machines that grind and mix ingredients Dumps or pours specified quantities of ingredients into blend tank and starts machine to mix ingredients, according to manufacturing instructions. Obtain samples of batches for Quality Control Lab testing Assist in all production areas as needed, as well as maintaining an accurate inventory of raw materials Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area Responsible for safe operation of forklift and all material handling equipment within the work area Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor Maintain a safe working environment, utilize appropriate safety equipment Ability and willingness to work as a team to solve problems, develop procedures, suggest improvements Participate in additional duties as required by leadership.
Qualifications:
Ability to read and follow formulas, procedures and equipment instructions. Good math skills to problem solve compounding formulas Good computer skills Accurate and legible recordkeeping skills. Good mechanical ability and knowledge. Excellent verbal communication skills for interacting with production team and excellent cooperation with co-workers and managers. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen. #INDLI
