We recently opened an additional 55K square foot production facility in Chandler, AZ with automated beam lines, pipe coping, a plasma burn table, and state of the art welding machines. We are seeking experienced CNC Operators. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Set up or program the computer responsible for the machinery Handle materials appropriately and safely Inspect the machinery and product for quality assurance Perform daily maintenance on the machinery Capability to identify machining issues Responsible for the shaping and cutting of structural steel Loading and unloading of product to machinery in a safe manner Ensure safe and clean environment by complying with safety rules and procedures Perform routine maintenance including cleaning machine and workspace Core Competencies Strong computer skills as CNC Operators use computer software to control machinery Ability to analyze the information provided on blueprints or other explanatory documents to make sure the final product matches the draft Strong math skills for inputting specific dimensions and figures into the CNC machinery Organizational Skills Technical Skills Required Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years machine shop experience 2+ years of experience programmming and operating plant machinery Ability to read and interpret blueprints and understand part tolerances per specifications Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Experience with CAD and Tekla software
