$25 (Depending on Experience) Responsibilities Set up, program, and operate CNC machines including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC machining centers using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software.

Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to determine machining requirements and specifications. Perform precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet dimensional tolerances and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards. Conduct routine inspections of machined parts for quality control, verifying dimensions and surface finishes against specifications. Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime, ensuring safety standards are upheld at all times. Operate shop tools such as press brake machines, stamping presses, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate records of production activities, machine settings, and inspection results; assist in tooling changes and machine maintenance as needed. Skills Proficiency in CNC programming and CAM programming for various machine types. Strong understanding of blueprint reading, mechanical blueprint interpretation, and manufacturing documentation. Experience with Fanuc controls or similar CNC control systems. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial troubleshooting, and factory automation processes. Ability to operate forklifts safely for materials handling within the manufacturing facility. Familiarity with shop math, basic math skills, and factory safety standards in production environments. Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication, assembly line processes, tooling setup, and materials handling. Skilled in using precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and dial indicators for quality assurance.
