CNC Operator-Plasma Machines We are looking for a Plasma Operator with strong fabrication skills. We are looking for individuals willing to take ownership of their work and perform to high quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• The selected candidate will be responsible for operating and generating basic programs necessary to operate CNC plasma cutting and fabrication equipment.
• Responsible for reviewing drawings.
• Plans project piece layouts to maximize materials utilization and minimize machine setup.
• Reviews shop orders to determine job specifications and requirements.
• Loads and unloads computer programs and observes operation of machine on trial run to test programmed instructions.
• Strong blueprint reading.

Plasma Programmer Skills and Abilities:

• Good verbal and written communication.
• Read and understand diagrams and other work-related materials.
• Possess solid mathematical and time management skills.
• Determine the causes of technical problems and find solutions for them.
• Must be able to respond quickly and smoothly to changes to the schedule.
• Must have experience with

SigmaNest Education:

High school diploma or GED Preferred. Machine operation and CNC experience.
