CNC Operator Empro Staffing - 3.7 Hawthorne, CA Job Details Full-time $25 - $30 an hour 5 hours ago Qualifications Materials management in manufacturing First article inspection High school diploma or GED Production in-process inspection CNC quality inspection Mechanical quality control procedures Safe environment creation CNC G-code Programming Milling machines Technical troubleshooting support Quality assurance experience within manufacturing Clean workspace maintenance Cross-functional communication Full Job Description CNC Swiss Operator Responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC Swiss Turning Centers, as well as performing first piece inspection. Ensure that all required processes are completed to produce parts that meet quality and ISO standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Programming and operating CNC Swiss Turning Centers to manufacture precision components. Setting up and operating CNC Lathes and CNC Mills. Performing first piece inspection to ensure quality and consistency. Participating in design reviews to improve product manufacturability. Providing technical support to the production team and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the manufacturing process. Performing material planning to ensure adequate supplies for production. Collaborating with engineers and other team members to improve manufacturing processes and overall product quality. Communicates with team members to receive instructions and coordinate activities.
Qualifications:
High school diploma required A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Swiss Machinist. Proficiency in G Code and CNC programming. Experience with CNC Lathes and CNC Mills. Proven experience in first piece inspection. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. A strong understanding of safety procedures and the ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
