Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision parts and components. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and machine operation will ensure high-quality output that meets strict specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced industrial equipment in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment dedicated to manufacturing excellence. Duties Set up CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC machining centers according to technical drawings and production schedules Program CNC machines using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and interpret G-code instructions for precise machining operations Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents to ensure accurate fabrication of parts Perform routine inspections using precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards to verify dimensional accuracy Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production flow Operate auxiliary shop tools including press brake machines, stamping presses, forklifts, and hand tools for materials handling and fabrication tasks Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety standards in production and conducting regular safety checks on machinery Requirements Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar equipment within a manufacturing or factory setting Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages (Fanuc preferred), CAM programming, and interpreting technical drawings or blueprints Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment issues effectively Familiarity with precision measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and understanding GD&T principles Ability to read mechanical blueprints and interpret manufacturing specifications accurately Basic shop math skills necessary for calculations related to machining tolerances and measurements Experience with factory safety standards in production environments and proper use of hand tools and tooling equipment Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is a plus Knowledge of materials handling, packaging processes, and assembly line operations is advantageous Join our team as a CNC Machine Operator where your skills will directly contribute to producing high-quality components in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 45.0 per week
