Rusco Manufacturing Is this you? Do you run Swiss-style CNC lathes with confidence and care? Can you read a blueprint, choose the right tool, and dial in offsets to hit micron-level tolerances? Do calipers, micrometers, and gauges feel like extensions of your hands? Do you thrive in a team setting where quality and throughput both matter? What you'll tackle Operate CNC Swiss/Sliding Headstock lathes to manufacture precision components. Load bar stock and unload finished parts safely and efficiently. Monitor machine performance, production cycles, and dimensional results. Conduct in-process and final inspections with precision metrology tools. Apply basic offsets and adjustments to maintain quality and takt time. Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, setup sheets, and work instructions. Follow tooling instructions and quality procedures to ensure consistency. Flag tooling wear, machine issues, or quality risks to the right stakeholders. Document production and inspection data accurately. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation. Comply with all quality, safety, and production standards. Must-haves 1-3+ years in CNC machining or machine operation (Swiss experience preferred). Ability to read mechanical drawings and blueprints. Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and related measuring tools. Working knowledge of CNC processes, tooling, speeds, and feeds. Excellent attention to detail; quality-first mindset. Team player who can also work independently. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Nice-to-haves Experience on Citizen, Star, Tsugami, Tornos, or Hanwha Swiss machines. Exposure to Fanuc, Mitsubishi, or Siemens controls. Machining experience with stainless steel, brass, aluminum, titanium, or medical components. GD&T literacy. SPC or other quality-control experience.
