JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title CNC Machinist Reports to Production Manager Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Set up of CNC Mills and Lathes for production runs Change tools, comp work and tool offsets. Deburr parts, saw/prep raw materials. Maintain on-time delivery for all jobs in production. Work with tight tolerances +-.001 in high volume production scale. Proper use of power and manual tools. i.e. impact wrenches, drills, EZ Outs, hand tools. Understand and comply with all quality and safety rules, guidelines, policies and procedures. Must understand and support all Quality, Product Safety, and Health/Safety/Environmental/Energy policies. Must understand and adhere to all relevant statutory or regulatory compliance obligations. Must understand, support and adhere to the Integrated Management System policies, procedures and instructions. Must understand and support relevant key performance indicators (KPIs), as defined in the goal tree. Skills and Competencies Technical Capacity High proficiency in Math - trigonometry, decimals, conversions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance. Knowledge of generally accepted best practices and theory. Good mechanical skills Knowledge of shop use of measuring devices. Basic knowledge of quantitative methods/statistical procedures and graphic skills. Communication Proficiency Organization Skills Time Management Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment :

The employee will be exposed to shop floor conditions, i.e. noise, heat, cold, dust/dirt etc. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Required Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent Two + years of CNC Mill and Lathe related experience.
