Northeast Manufacturing is a growing precision CNC machine shop located in Stoneham, Massachusetts, serving the medical, aerospace, defense, and technology industries. We are looking for an experienced CNC Mill & Lathe Operator to operate both CNC milling and turning machines, producing precision parts to customer specifications. Programming and independent machine setups are not required.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of CNC milling experience. Minimum 3 years of CNC lathe/turning experience. Milling and lathe experience may overlap. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances. Experience using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, indicators, and other precision measuring instruments. Ability to work with tolerances of ±.001" or tighter when required. Experience making routine tool-wear and offset adjustments.

Responsibilities:

Operate CNC milling machines and lathes using established programs and existing machine setups. Perform routine tool and insert changes and offset adjustments. Perform first-piece and in-process dimensional inspections to verify parts meet drawing specifications. Identify and segregate rejected or nonconforming parts.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Haas and/or Fanuc CNC controls. Familiarity with GD&T.

Pay:

$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
