Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and manufacturing documentation Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Basic math skills required Experience Requirements Previous CNC machine operation experience preferred Experience using precision measuring instruments and hand tools Familiarity with manufacturing, machining, or production environments Experience performing quality inspections and verifying product specifications Knowledge of machine shop practices and basic machine maintenance is a plus Preferred Qualifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to troubleshoot machine issues and identify process improvements Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Willingness to participate in ongoing training and skill development Experience with 5S, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement initiatives preferred Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required Ability to use hand tools, measuring equipment, and machine controls safely Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around moving machinery and equipment Job Duties Load and unload materials and components into CNC machines Operate CNC equipment safely and efficiently while following company procedures Read manufacturing orders, blueprints, and specifications to ensure quality production Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to verify customer specifications Perform tool offset adjustments and complete tool or insert changes as needed Assist with machine setup and teardown activities Support machine shop operations, including deburring, tumbling, assembly, bending, punching, and packing Perform basic machine maintenance, including chip removal and coolant monitoring Troubleshoot production issues and machine irregularities to improve quality and efficiency Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other shifts Support 5S, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives Cross-train on additional equipment and processes to expand manufacturing skills Benefits Competitive Weekly Pay Comprehensive Benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage. What You Will Do As a CNC Machine Operator you will set up, operate, monitor, and adjust CNC machining equipment to manufacture precision components according to engineering specifications. You will verify machine setups, inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments, troubleshoot machining issues, maintain tooling, and support quality and production goals while following established safety and manufacturing procedures. The CNC Machine Operator plays an important role in modern manufacturing by operating CNC equipment that produces precision parts for a wide range of industries.
