Job Description

CNC Lathe Set-Up/Operator Join a Precision Machining Team That Values Experience We're looking for an experienced CNC machinist that enjoys taking ownership of the entire machining process—not just loading parts and pressing cycle start. If you like creating programs, setting up jobs, making program improvements, solving problems and producing quality parts, we'd like to talk with you. You'll work in a clean, climate-controlled shop with modern equipment alongside a small team that takes pride in doing things right. Pay & Benefits $30.00-$40.00 per hour, depending on experience 100% employer-paid family medical and dental insurance after 30 days Paid uniforms 401(k) Paid Time Off starting immediately Paid training Opportunities for advancement Overtime available Schedule 1st
Shift:
6:00 AM - 4:00 PM Four-day work week (Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday) Every other weekend is a four-day weekend Overtime available as needed About the Shop We're an

turning centers Short to medium run jobs Job shop environment Automated inspection equipment Small precision components—no large or heavy parts Small- to medium-volume production with a variety of materials Clean, well-organized, climate-controlled work environment A team of fewer than 20 employees with low turnover Get recognized for doing a good job and extra effort What You'll Do Set up, program, edit, and operate Miyano turning centers Write and modify CNC programs using CAD/CAM and longhand programming Set up new and repeat production jobs Improve programs and machining processes to reduce cycle times Inspect parts during production and verify finished dimensions Make tool offsets and replace inserts as needed Read blueprints and interpret GD&T Troubleshoot machining and programming issues Help train and support other operators when needed Complete production and quality documentation Perform routine machine maintenance and keep your work area clean Follow safety procedures and ISO quality standards What We're Looking For Experience setting up and operating CNC Lathes with live tooling Experience with Citizen/Mitsubishi controls a plus CNC programming and editing experience Dependable work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T Basic computer skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Interested?
