Cabinet & Millwork Manufacturing Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet/Woodworking CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precise cabinetry and woodworking components according to detailed construction plans and technical drawings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in woodworking, carpentry, and construction, with a focus on high-quality craftsmanship and safety standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to custom projects within residential, commercial, and restoration industries, ensuring that each piece meets exact specifications and client expectations. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC woodworking machines to cut, shape, and assemble cabinetry and wood components with precision. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to ensure accurate fabrication of parts. Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, including saws, drills, sanders, and finishing equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to power tool safety protocols. Perform routine machine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal operation. Collaborate with carpenters, project managers, and other trades to meet project deadlines and specifications. Assist with manual assembly of cabinetry or woodwork when necessary for custom or complex projects. Ensure quality control by inspecting finished products for accuracy, finish quality, and adherence to specifications. Support other construction-related tasks such as drywall installation, caulking, rebar installation, or fixture mounting as needed. Follow safety guidelines rigorously during all phases of work to prevent accidents or injuries. Qualifications Proven experience in woodworking, carpentry, or cabinet making within residential or commercial construction environments. Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans. Hands-on knowledge of woodworking machines such as CNC routers, saws, sanders, and other power tools. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and understanding of building materials like wood construction materials. Strong skills in interpreting technical drawings related to framing, siding, drywall, or fixture installation. Knowledge of power tool safety standards and best practices for heavy lifting and material handling. Experience in remodeling projects or restoration industry work is highly desirable. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Interested?
