Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Operator for the first shift to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts according to technical specifications. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-quality production processes in a dynamic environment. The CNC Operator will ensure that manufacturing standards, safety protocols, and quality measures are consistently met or exceeded. Responsibilities Set up CNC machinery including CNC milling machines, lathes, and other industrial equipment using technical drawings and specifications. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents to ensure accurate fabrication. Conduct precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments to verify dimensional accuracy. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and adjustments on CNC equipment to maintain optimal operation. Operate auxiliary tools such as press brake machines, stamping presses, and fabrication tools as needed. Ensure adherence to safety standards in production environments while maintaining high quality control standards. Collaborate with team members on tooling setup, materials handling, and packaging processes. Maintain detailed records of machine settings, production output, and inspection results for quality assurance. Requirements Proven experience operating CNC machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and related equipment in a manufacturing or factory setting. Proficiency in reading mechanical blueprints and interpreting technical drawings accurately. Ability to perform shop math calculations accurately for fabrication and machining tasks. Experience with precision measurement tools like micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators. Basic understanding of manufacturing processes including stamping presses, flexo presses, tooling setups, and materials handling. Knowledge of safety standards applicable to industrial machining environments. Excellent mechanical aptitude combined with problem-solving skills. Ability to work efficiently on the first shift within a fast-paced production environment.
