Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of industrial machinery, ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently during your shift. Your expertise in machine operation, technical troubleshooting, and quality control will contribute to delivering high-quality products while maintaining safety standards. Responsibilities Operate and monitor machinery including CNC machining centers to produce precision parts. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, and gauges to verify dimensional accuracy and ensure compliance with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards. Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production flow. Document production activities accurately, including quality checks, machine settings, and process adjustments. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience operating CNC machine centers. Ability to read blueprints and interpret shop math for precise fabrication tasks. Familiarity with safety standards in manufacturing environments to ensure a safe workspace for all team members. Experience with factory or manufacturing facility operations. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments for quality control. Knowledge of industrial troubleshooting techniques to resolve mechanical or operational issues quickly. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced production setting while maintaining attention to detail.
