00+ / hour Who we are A third-generation, family-owned precision job shop manufacturer located in Brook Park, OH specializes in close-tolerance custom component manufacturing for critical industries including medical devices, defense, aerospace, photonics, and optics. Operating out of a clean, modern, and 100% climate-controlled facility, our tight-knit team works in a collaborative, non-union environment. We are currently expanding our shop floor team with a CNC Milling Operator due to an increase in overall production volume. CNC Milling Operator Role The CNC Milling Operator performs intricate, close-tolerance machining of small, advanced components across multiple CNC machines simultaneously. This role ensures all precision parts are manufactured accurately to blueprint specifications while maintaining high quality and production standards. CNC Milling Operator Responsibilities Perform intricate, close-tolerance machining operations on precision components using CNC milling equipment Operate multiple CNC machines simultaneously to complete production runs on schedule Execute milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring, sawing, and sanding tasks Inspect completed parts against engineering blueprints and technical specifications Utilize a wide variety of precision measuring instruments to verify component dimensions Detect and report defective materials, equipment malfunctions, or unusual conditions to leadership Maintain complete and accurate documentation and paperwork for all processed parts Keep the work area organized, clean, and compliant with standard shop safety procedures CNC Milling Operator Reporting Relationships This position reports directly to the Production Supervisor and has no direct supervisory responsibilities. About You Possess a high school diploma, GED, or graduation from an accredited technical school Demonstrate 1 or more years of CNC machining experience in a precision manufacturing environment Operate CNC equipment proficiently with working knowledge of Fanuc, Yasnac, or Seicos controls Read and accurately interpret complex blueprints and engineering drawings Understand machine tooling, quality inspection procedures, and basic GD&T concepts Use precision measuring tools effectively to conduct thorough part inspections Exhibit strong mechanical capacity, technical problem-solving skills, and attention to detail Stand, walk, and regularly lift, push, or pull objects weighing up to 85 pounds Next Steps If precision-focused and detail-oriented describes you, we would like to hear from you.
