Shift:

1st Shift We are seeking an experienced Boring Mill Operator with manual and/or CNC experience to join a well-established machine shop. The ideal candidate will have strong job shop experience, the ability to work independently, and a solid background in precision machining. This is a great opportunity for an experienced machinist who enjoys working on a variety of jobs, reading complex blueprints, and producing high-quality precision parts. Responsibilities Set up and operate manual and/or CNC boring mills. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T. Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and workholding methods. Machine large and complex components to tight tolerances. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments. Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments as needed. Maintain quality and safety standards throughout the machining process. Work independently in a job shop environment with varying projects. Requirements Minimum 5 years of boring mill experience. Previous job shop experience is essential. Experience operating manual and/or CNC boring mills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T. Strong setup, tooling, and machining skills. Ability to work independently and solve problems. Commitment to quality, accuracy, and workplace safety. What We Offer Pay up to $40 per hour , based on experience. First-shift schedule.
