In this role, you will operate and program a CNC plasma cutting machine to cut material with accuracy and efficiency. Duties Set up, operate, and monitor CNC plasma cutting machines, ensuring precise cuts according to technical drawings and production specifications Program CNC plasma systems using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software to optimize cutting paths and improve productivity Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents to accurately fabricate metal parts Conduct dimensional measurements using precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards to verify part accuracy Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machinery, including industrial equipment troubleshooting and minor repairs Maintain safety standards in production areas by adhering to all safety protocols and wearing appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Collaborate with team members on materials handling, packaging finished products, and supporting assembly line operations as needed Requirements Proven experience operating CNC plasma cutting machines in a manufacturing or fabrication environment Strong knowledge of CNC programming, including familiarity with Fanuc controls and CAM programming techniques Ability to read mechanical blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately Skilled in the use of precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math for quality control purposes Mechanical aptitude with understanding of fabrication processes CNC milling machines, lathes, and other industrial equipment Experience with factory operations including materials handling, packaging, and assembly line support Familiarity with safety standards in production environments and industrial equipment troubleshooting skills are highly desirable Join us in shaping the future of manufacturing by bringing your passion for machining excellence!
