CNC Operator Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team in Antioch, TN. The CNC Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. This position requires attention to detail, blueprint reading, quality inspection, and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines, including loading materials, selecting tooling, and adjusting machine settings. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to ensure parts are manufactured to specifications. Perform in-process and final quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment. Monitor machine performance, make necessary offsets and adjustments, and troubleshoot minor equipment issues. Maintain accurate production and quality documentation. Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized. Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and quality standards. Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to meet production goals.

Qualifications:

Previous CNC operating experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. High school diploma or GED required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with CNC mills, lathes, or machining centers. Knowledge of G-code and machine offsets. Quality inspection and documentation experience. Forklift certification is a plus.
