Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision parts and components. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and machine operation will ensure that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Responsibilities Set up CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC machining centers according to technical specifications and production requirements. Program CNC equipment using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and interpret CAD (Computer-Aided Design) drawings to ensure accurate machining processes. Operate various industrial equipment including press brake machines, stamping presses, flexo presses, and fabrication tools while adhering to safety standards. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents to determine machining parameters and tooling needs. Measure finished parts using precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards to verify dimensional accuracy. Troubleshoot mechanical issues with CNC machinery and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Skills Proficiency with Fanuc controls and other CNC programming languages; experience with CAM programming is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of mechanical blueprint reading and interpretation of technical drawings. Familiarity with shop math, basic math skills necessary for precise measurements, and understanding of GD&T principles. Experience operating various manufacturing equipment including press brakes, stamping presses, flexo presses, CNC lathes, milling machines, and tooling setups. Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and shop math for quality control purposes. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments; committed to maintaining a safe workplace through adherence to safety protocols. Capable of troubleshooting industrial equipment issues efficiently; understanding of factory experience is a plus. Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints for fabrication or assembly tasks. Skilled in the use of hand tools and basic fabrication techniques; experience with packaging and assembly line processes is beneficial.
