Manufacturing We are seeking an experienced Haas CNC Operator, preferably with experience in machining fiberglass composite materials to join our growing manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC operations, specifically with Haas equipment, and a solid understanding of the unique challenges and techniques associated with working with composite materials. The individual will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Haas CNCs, while ensuring high-quality and precise machining of fiberglass components.

• CNC Operation:

  Set up and operate Haas CNC s to machine fiberglass composite parts per engineering specifications.

• Material Handling:

  Safely handle and manage fiberglass composite materials, ensuring proper loading and unloading of components.

• Setup:

  Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to configure CNC machines, including tool selection, fixture setup, and machine operation.

• Quality Control:

  Perform routine inspections using precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, dial indicators) to ensure parts meet dimensional and drawing requirements.

• Troubleshooting and Maintenance:

  Troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform basic maintenance to ensure machines remain in optimal working condition.

• Safety Compliance:

  Adhere to all safety protocols when handling composite materials and operating CNC machines, including wearing appropriate PPE and managing airborne particulate.

• Process Improvement:

  Work closely with engineering and production teams to identify areas for process improvements and efficiency enhancements in machining composite materials.

• Documentation:

  Accurately record production data, such as machine setups, process changes, and inspection results, into the company's tracking systems.

• Collaboration:

  Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimize machining processes, tooling, and techniques for fiberglass reinforced composites.

• Technical Skills:

  Proficiency machine setup and tool management for CNCs.

• Material Knowledge:

  Understanding of the properties and machining techniques for fiberglass composite materials, including handling, dust control, and cutting tool selection.

• Measurement Tools:

  Experience with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.) and the ability to inspect parts to tight tolerances.
• Attention to

Detail:

Strong focus on producing high-quality, dimensionally accurate parts, with an eye for detail.

• Safety Awareness:

  Knowledge of safety protocols related to composite material machining and CNC operation.

• Problem-Solving:

  Ability to troubleshoot machine issues and identify solutions to prevent downtime.

• Teamwork:

  Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Forklift certification or experience a bonus.
• Able to lift 50lbs
• Work standing unless on break.

• Experience:

  Preferred minimum of 6 years of experience operating Haas CNCs, with a strong preference for candidates with experience machining fiberglass composite materials. Preferred associates degree in machining technology or related coursework.
