About the Role As a Precision CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for transforming raw materials into high-performance components through expert programming and machine operation. Your work directly impacts the reliability of critical industrial equipment by ensuring every part meets rigorous engineering standards. Responsibilities Develop and optimize CNC programs using G-code and modern CAM software to maximize production efficiency. Execute complex machine setups, including precise tooling selection, fixture design, and offset calibration. Produce high-precision components from various metals and specialty alloys while maintaining strict dimensional integrity. Validate part quality against detailed blueprints to ensure zero-defect output. Proactively resolve machining challenges and optimize processes to reduce downtime. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior operators to elevate team capabilities. Document production cycles and inspection results to maintain operational transparency. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a professional CNC machining environment. Demonstrated expertise in G-code programming and machine logic. Proven ability to consistently achieve tight tolerances within ±0.001 inches. Preferred Skills Associate degree in Manufacturing Technology or a related technical field. Advanced proficiency with CAM software such as Mastercam or Fusion 360. Prior experience working with heavy-duty drilling components or downhole tooling.
