Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce high-quality precision components. Your expertise in machine operation, technical drawing interpretation, and measurement tools will ensure that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment where craftsmanship and precision are paramount. Responsibilities Operate Fanuc /hass CNC machining equipment such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC machining centers to produce parts according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents to ensure accurate fabrication. Program CNC machines using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and adjust settings for optimal performance. Set up tooling, fixtures, and workpieces accurately using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot mechanical or electronic issues promptly to minimize downtime. Ensure compliance with safety standards in production areas by following proper procedures and wearing appropriate PPE. Maintain detailed records of machine operations, measurements, and quality checks for each batch produced. Experience Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and mechanical blueprint interpretation. Familiarity with Fanuc controls or other CNC control systems is highly desirable. Experience programming CNC machines using CAM programming software; knowledge of G-code is a plus. Ability to handle tooling changes and perform basic shop math calculations accurately. Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of industrial equipment troubleshooting. Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience with a focus on quality control, safety standards, and materials handling is preferred. Pay:
$25.21 - $30.36 per hour
