Job Description

All-Pro Threaded Products, manufacturing division of All-Pro Fasteners, Inc., located in Arlington, Texas, is a producer of a wide variety of special fasteners that are used throughout the steel fabrication, pipe, OEM, industrial construction and utility industries.

Summary:
Sets up and operates Fanuk Controls, Kuma, and Haas Control CNC Lathe and Mill machines to fabricate steel parts for the fastener industry: (Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned):
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machinery
  • Adhere to material traceability procedures
  • Select and install proper tooling and/or fixtures and program
  • Provide first article to QC Supervisor/Lead for approval signature
  • Periodically inspect parts for conformity to specifications
  • Provide accurate account of pieces produced
  • Police and clean work area 15 minutes prior to end of shift
  • Frequently pushes, pulls and lifts up to 50 pounds
  • Reads and interprets work orders and daily production schedules What You Need
  • Measurement Proficiency:
    Knowledge of calipers, gauges, and other required measuring tools.
  • Math Skills:
    Strong proficiency in basic math.
  • Documentation Skills:
    Ability to accurately document machining procedures.
  • Tooling Knowledge:
    Familiarity with metals, part-holding fixtures, and lathe/mill tooling.
  • Communication:
    Basic oral communication skills and the ability to read, comprehend, and complete logs and reports in English.
  • Physical Stamina:
    Ability to handle heavy items, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning components.
  • Policy Compliance:
    Availability to work scheduled hours and adhere to all company policies, including timekeeping.
  • Adaptability:
    Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled shop environment and stand for an entire shift.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    Strong understanding of machining practices, materials, and general mechanical principles.
