Pacific Tool Inc. works with all Boeing entities across all locations worldwide. We are the scale producer for specialized aerospace tools, providing industry-leading engineering and technical assistance, the shortest lead times, and money-saving stocking. Our specialized tools have been instrumental in Boeing's lowering of manufacturing costs and reduction of production lead times. Pacific Tool Inc. has been honored with several Boeing Supplier of the Year nominations in recent years and is currently in the running for Supplier of the Year, 2018. Also in 2018, Pacific Tool Inc. was given approval by Boeing to market and sell their specialized aerospace tools to airlines, MRO's and suppliers worldwide. Pacific Tool Inc. was founded in 1966 to serve Boeing's specialized aerospace tool needs. Since then, we have worked with every Boeing airplane program, starting with the 727 and subsequently the 737, 747, 757, 767, 777 and 787. We have a wide array of manual and advanced computer-numeric-controlled (CNC) machining equipment for high-precision, specialized tool manufacturing. Our factory and machining capabilities are tailored for the diverse universe of specialized aerospace tool requirements.
CNC Mill Operator Position Summary:
  • Set up and run production jobs and tooling on 3 axis CNC mills.
  • Understand how different materials react and relieve during cutting and adjust programs as necessary.
  • Read, interpret, and follow shop travelers and blueprints to complete job operations.
  • Select, align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials on machines.
  • Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards, using inspection tools and devices.
  • Pay range - $26-$40/hr depending on level of experience.
The Qualified Candidate will:
  • Have 0-3 years of CNC mill experience from a job shop, production shop, or prototype environment
  • Have a 2 year Machinist Training Degree or certificate
  • Have the ability to work within very tight tolerances where required in a variety of materials including chromoly, stainless, hardened steel, plastic, and aluminum.
  • Be able to interpret machine prints, GD&T, and current manufacturing plans.
  • Enjoy working on a high variety of items while completing short manufacturing runs.
  • Be able to use measurement equipment including, calipers, micrometers, and thread gages.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Must comply with all applicable safety requirements, policies and procedures, while maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.
  • Must participate in required training, medical monitoring, safety, and health evaluations and programs.
  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in all designated areas of facility.
  • Perform all physical functions of position; standing, stooping, bending, sitting, walking, twisting, kneeling, turning and lifting of materials up to 35 lbs.
  • Meet established attendance standards.
  • Work overtime as needed. (Regular Shift is 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday thru Friday)
  • Must report any work-related injury or illness immediately to your direct supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
