Thursday) A well-established manufacturing company in Kenosha, WI is restarting its 2nd shift and is seeking experienced CNC Mill Operators to join the team.
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled CNC operators who are comfortable working independently, making machine adjustments, and producing precision parts to blueprint specifications. Candidates should have a solid CNC milling background and be confident using precision measuring equipment. Some initial training may take place toward the end of 1st shift before transitioning fully to the regular 2nd-shift schedule.
CNC Operator Responsibilities:
Operate CNC milling machines to produce parts according to specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
Perform machine edits and make necessary offset adjustments
Understand and utilize tool offsets within CNC machines
Change tooling as needed during production
Inspect finished parts to verify dimensional and quality requirements
Use precision measuring and inspection equipment, including calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, surface testers, and height stands/gauges
Monitor machining processes and make adjustments to maintain part quality
Identify tooling or machining issues and make appropriate corrections
Maintain accurate production and inspection documentation
Follow established safety, quality, and housekeeping procedures Requirements for
CNC Operator:
Previous CNC milling experience required
Strong blueprint-reading skills
Experience using calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, surface testers, height stands, and other precision measuring equipment
Working knowledge of CNC edits and offsets
Basic understanding of changing tooling and adjusting tool offsets
Ability to inspect your own work and recognize when adjustments are necessary
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts
