CNC Programmer

Job Description

We are seeking a machinist/CNC programmer with at least 2-years of experience to join our team. The machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC to manual mills, and lathes to produce precision parts and tooling in accordance with technical guidelines and quality control standards. This position is designated as Safety Sensitive by FAA-DOT. All employees must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Test and will be subject to ongoing random drug and alcohol testing.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES

Complete assigned tasks following applicable technical guidelines and quality control standards. Ensure tasks are performed in the correct sequence, orderly, and timely manner. Properly identify and use tools and equipment required for the job. Accurately complete necessary paperwork in a timely fashion. Build CNC programs for CNC machines

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Under management supervision, the machinist will: Set up and operate manual mills and lathes to produce precision parts and tooling. Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications. Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to perform machining operations. Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process. Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards. Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Multi-task and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

$30 - $40.00 per hour

Experience:

Minimum 2 year experience with manual mils and lathes GD&T Skills Read and interpret blueprints
