Overview We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior CNC Machinist and Programmer to join our dynamic team in Rancho Dominguez, CA. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills and lathes, to produce precision parts. Develop and optimize CNC programs using G-code and CAD/CAM software. Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring tools to ensure adherence to specifications. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues. Train and mentor junior machinists on best practices and programming techniques. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC machinist and programmer. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages, particularly GibbsCam. Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
