We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC milling and/or turning machines, programming CNC equipment, reading technical drawings, and inspecting precision-machined parts. The successful candidate should be detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of working independently while maintaining high standards for quality and production. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications to determine machining requirements and processes. Set up and operate CNC milling and/or turning machines to produce precision parts in accordance with drawing requirements. Program CNC machines using Mastercam and/or Fusion 360 . Develop and modify CNC programs as needed to improve machining processes and maintain part quality. Select appropriate tooling, workholding, cutting parameters, and machining methods. Perform first-article and in-process inspections to verify dimensions and ensure parts meet print requirements. Use precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection equipment. Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and programming issues during production. Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment and work areas clean and organized. Maintain accurate production and inspection records as required. Follow company quality procedures, safety requirements, and established machining practices. Qualifications 5+ years of CNC machining experience preferred. Hands-on experience operating CNC milling and/or turning machines. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Knowledge of G-code and manual program editing . Experience using Mastercam . Ability to perform first-article and in-process inspections. Proficient with precision measuring equipment, including calipers and micrometers. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a production environment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand for extended periods. High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus. Preferred Experience Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience. Experience machining close-tolerance precision components. Familiarity with
AS9100/ISO 9001
quality systems. Experience working from customer drawings and specifications. Experience with both prototype and production machining.
