Responsibilities:
Must be proficient in G-code Must be able to write programs and operate Operate various machine tools to manufacture and repair mechanical assemblies. Record all data necessary to produce expected service and/or design results, including sizing and illustrations. Use measuring devices and techniques correctly to assure proper sizing. Setup, program, and operate CNC lathe and machines Knowledgeable in Mazak CNC Machinery Perform milling operations such as drilling, tapping, boring and conventional milling and lathe work, using various engine lathes (e.g., horizontal and vertical mills and horizontal boring mills). Understand materials and applications as required. Use various hand-held and stationary power and non-power tools, including but not limited to: band saws, belt sanders, hand grinder, and files. Lift, tighten, adjust and/or secure heavy objects in order to perform work and/or to observe safety precautions. Assist other machinists in department with skilled or non-skilled duties as directed by supervisor or shop manager. Adhere to all company policies Observe all safety procedures / policies and use proper protective equipment Keep work area clean and organized. Report all injuries, near misses and accidents immediately to a supervisor. All other duties as assigned.
Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years' experience as a Manual/CNC Machinist in machine shop & job shop work environment. MIG and/or TIG welding a plus
Education:
Preferred High School Diploma or GED. Physical /
Work Environment Qualifications:
Frequent bending, pushing / pulling, reaching, and lifting periodically up to 75 pounds. Regularly lifting to 35 pounds
Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen Pass a drug test Applicants cannot have any felonies within the past 7 years and no domestic violence or any crime in which a firearm was used
Education:
