We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to create, optimize, and maintain CNC programs. The successful candidate will translate drawings and GD&T requirements into efficient G-code/CAM programs, support machine setup and troubleshooting, and ensure parts meet quality standards and

ISO 9001

requirements. This role collaborates closely with production, quality, and engineering to improve processes and deliver precision components on schedule. Key Responsibilities Develop, test, and optimize CNC programs (G-code/CAM) for mills, lathes, mill-turn, and Swiss machines based on blueprints and GD&T specifications.

Simulate programs and verify toolpaths to ensure collision-free, efficient operations and minimize cycle time.

Support machine setup and first-article runs, including tool selection, tooling offsets, and fixture recommendations for machines such as Miyano, Tsugami, Star, Haas, Doosan, Mori, Okuma, and Citizen.

Troubleshoot in-process issues with operators and machinists, provide program revisions, and implement corrective actions to achieve required tolerances.

Work with quality and engineering teams to ensure parts comply with prints, GD&T, and

ISO 9001

documentation and control procedures.

Maintain and update program libraries, tooling documentation, setup sheets, and work instructions to support repeatable production.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cycle time, improve quality, and lower production costs.

Train and mentor operators and junior programmers on programming standards, machine capabilities, and best practices. Qualifications Associate degree or technical diploma in machining, CNC technology, manufacturing engineering, or equivalent experience.

Minimum 3 years of CNC programming experience across mills, lathes, mill-turn, and/or Swiss machines; hands-on experience with Miyano, Tsugami, Star, Haas, Doosan, Mori, Okuma, or Citizen is strongly preferred.

Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and GD&T.

Strong knowledge of G-code and CAM programming; experience with common CAM packages and post-processors.

Demonstrated ability to simulate and verify programs, perform first-article inspections, and apply corrective actions.

Familiarity with

ISO 9001

quality systems and documentation practices.

Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication for cross-functional collaboration.
