About HB Elements HB Elements is a manufacturer of exterior millwork made from cellular PVC, based in Pompano Beach, Florida. We build columns, soffit systems, rafter tails, brackets, pergolas, trim, and custom architectural pieces for high-end homes and commercial projects across Florida and beyond. Position Summary The CNC Programmer turns our approved design files into cutting programs for our CNC routers. This person takes shop drawings from AutoCAD, programs them in AlphaCAM, and makes sure every part is set up to cut accurately. The CNC Programmer also knows the machines well enough to run them and step in when an operator is out. Duties & Responsibilities Take approved design files and program them in AlphaCAM, our CAD/CAM software Set the tool paths, cutting directions, and tooling for each part Prepare cutting programs for our nested-based CNC routers Know how to run the CNC routers and change tools Operate the CNC routers when needed to cover for an operator who is out Required Qualifications 3 to 5 years of experience in AutoCAD Working knowledge of how to run a CNC router and change tools Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of experience in AlphaCAM. Experience in Mastercam, Cabinet Vision, or a similar CAD/CAM program also counts. 3 years of CNC programming experience Experience with nested-based CNC routers cutting wood, cabinets, or plastics Hands-on experience operating CNC routers Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Paid holidays 401(k)
