Fulton Technology Corp is seeking an experienced Lead CNC Machinist to take ownership of our shop floor. This is a hands-on role for someone who can confidently program, set up and run 3- and 4-axis CNC vertical machining centers and lathes, and who is ready to lead others. The Lead Machinist may oversee machinists and machine operators: assigning jobs, troubleshooting setups, training newer team members, and making sure every part meets spec. Candidates must be fully self-sufficient and reliable, and able to ensure the quality of both their own work and their team's without supervision. Why Join Us? Key Responsibilities:

Program, set up, operate, and inspect CNC mills and lathes to produce tight tolerance parts Read and interpret detailed technical drawings and blueprints Ensure high-quality production by using measurement and inspection tools effectively Streamline processes to improve productivity and maintain accuracy Handle materials with a strong understanding of their properties and characteristics

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in a high-precision machining environment Proficiency in CAM programming, setup, and operation of CNC Vertical Mills and Lathes Strong familiarity with Fanuc controls (highly preferred) Knowledge of shop math and material properties Skilled in using inspection tools Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work independently with minimal oversight Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Work Hours:
