Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented CNC Machinist / CAD-CAM Programmer to join a countertop fabrication team specializing in granite, marble, quartz, and other stone surfaces. This position is responsible for converting digital measurements, templates, and shop drawings into precise CNC programs used to fabricate custom countertops. The ideal candidate has experience with CNC machinery, CAD/CAM programming, or stone fabrication and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work. Key Responsibilities Create and modify CAD/CAM programs using software such as AlphaCAM, Slabsmith, AutoCAD, or similar programs. Convert digital field measurements, physical templates, and architectural drawings into machine-ready files. Set up, operate, and monitor CNC routers, bridge saws, waterjets, and other stone fabrication equipment. Program and produce precise sink cutouts, edge profiles, and other custom countertop features. Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. Verify measurements and finished products to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met. Inspect stone slabs for imperfections and identify potential fabrication issues. Perform routine equipment maintenance and replace tooling as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Work closely with the fabrication and installation teams to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule. Qualifications Previous experience in CNC machining, CAD/CAM programming, stone fabrication, countertop manufacturing, cabinetry, or woodworking preferred. Familiarity with CNC programming software and automated manufacturing equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment or programming issues. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn stone-specific software, machinery, and fabrication processes. Additional Information Experience with granite, quartz, marble, or other countertop materials is a plus. Candidates with general CNC machining or CAD/CAM programming experience may also be considered, even without direct stone fabrication experience.

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
