Job Description

Job Overview We are currently seeking a full-time 1st shift CNC Programmer/Engineer. This person is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting CNC programs and machining processes that convert raw materials into finished components that meet engineering specifications and quality standards. This role supports engineering and production through set ups, programming, tooling, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement while ensuring safe, efficient manufacturing processes in an
ISO 9001
environment. Essential Functions Use Mastercam or SolidCAM to develop CNC Programs for both Mill and Lathe CNC Machines Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machining requirements Set up machines, select tooling, and perform test runs to ensure programs meet specifications Develop, assemble, procure or modify existing and new tooling, fixtures, and equipment to ensure efficient production methods Assist in failure analysis, troubleshooting, rework/repair of non-conforming manufactured product to determine root cause Support the New Product Implementation Process Perform quality checks during machining and on finished components Work hands-on with operators and assist with machine setup as required Assist with training and guidance of employees on machine operation and processes as needed Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required Associate's Degree in Machining Technology preferred or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in CNC Programming (Mastercam or SolidCAM required) 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment Experience in processing of complex machine components Ability to write and edit G & M Code required Advanced print reading/GD&T skills required Experience with computer modeling and CAD software a substantial plus Ability to clearly communicate, verbally and in writing, with all levels of the organization Benefits Hotdogs, coffee & slushies in the breakroom Paid lunch 401(k) with company match Company provided dental insurance Company provided life insurance Competitive health insurance plan Vision insurance Employee Assistance Program Flexible schedules Vacation starting day 1 Paid Holidays (Veterans also get Veterans Day off with pay) Referral program
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and use hands to handle or operate tools, equipment, and machinery Must be able to lift and/or move materials weighing up to approximately 50 pounds Frequent exposure to a manufacturing environment, including moving machinery, noise, metal components, oils, and coolants Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary
