This is a direct hire role. We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join a manufacturing partner. This position offers immediate start potential with compensation reaching $40/hr depending on your background. You will be eligible for a full suite of benefits provided directly by the company.
Core Duties:
Our team is looking for a proficient CNC Programmer and Setup Machinist. You will take ownership of the full production cycle, from initial programming and machine setup to the final inspection of high-precision components based on technical drawings. Manage the full production lifecycle by programming, setting up, and running CNC mills and lathes to ensure finished parts meet exact standards. Support efficient production by choosing the right tooling and creating necessary fixtures. Help maintain high quality standards for the entire team by conducting thorough first-piece and in-process inspections. Resolve technical challenges related to machining, tooling, or programming with minimal guidance. Analyze blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications to develop effective machining approaches. Optimize production efficiency and part quality by calculating ideal feeds, speeds, and strategies.

Sturtevant, WI Shift Information:
Day shift with flexible scheduling options for either 8-hour shifts (5 days weekly) or 10-hour shifts (4 days weekly).
Requirements:
At least 5 years of professional CNC machining background. A minimum of 3 years dedicated to CNC programming. Demonstrated expertise in programming, setting up, and operating Okuma CNC mills and lathes. Proficiency in GibbsCam 2026 is preferred, though experience with Mastercam or similar software is welcome. Hands-on experience with precision measurement tools, specifically CMM equipment like the Mitutoyo MiSTAR 555. Advanced skills in reading and understanding blueprints, GD&T, and complex engineering documentation. Proven capability to design fixtures, select appropriate tooling, and define optimal machining parameters. Help ensure consistent output by performing detailed first article and in-process quality checks. Ability to independently diagnose and fix issues related to programming, machine setup, and part tolerances. Self-motivated professional with a keen eye for detail, capable of managing projects from start to finish.
