Job Summary We are seeking Commercial Painter specializing in Retail and Banking environments to join our team iterested in traveling with our crews. for a 10 day project in October. This is a Temp job but can be full time for somone in. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting services that enhance the appearance and durability of commercial spaces. Your expertise will contribute to creating inviting, professional atmospheres in retail stores and banking institutions, ensuring all surfaces are properly prepared, painted, and finished according to project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that demand precision, safety adherence, and a keen eye for detail. Duties Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Execute painting tasks using various techniques such as brush painting, roller painting, spray painting (including conventional and airless spray systems), and industrial coating methods. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately follow project specifications and dimensions. Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment safely to reach high or awkward areas. Apply coatings to walls, ceilings, fixtures, trim carpentry, drywall, stucco, masonry surfaces, and structural elements with precision. Conduct surface preparation for renovation or restoration projects by repairing drywall, caulking gaps, plastering surfaces, or performing masonry repairs. Follow strict safety regulations by wearing respiratory protection and adhering to safety protocols during all phases of work. Select appropriate paints and coatings based on color theory principles and project requirements; perform visual color comparisons for consistency. Complete construction estimating tasks related to materials and time requirements for each project phase. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Experience Proven experience in commercial painting within retail stores or banking environments is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of construction site procedures including blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and surface preparation techniques. Hands-on experience with various painting methods such as brush work, roller application, spray systems (airless or conventional), and industrial coating applications. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and basic math skills for material calculations. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding equipment, ladders safely and effectively. Experience working on renovation projects involving drywall installation/removal, plastering, caulking, fixture installation, framing carpentry, masonry or concrete finishing is advantageous. Knowledge of safety regulations specific to construction painting sites including respiratory protection and hazard awareness. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately while adhering to project schematics and blueprints. $24.87 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 70.0 per week
