Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join our manufacturing team. This position will be responsible for painting metal enclosures and large skids used in enclosure manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on industrial painting experience and be comfortable preparing metal surfaces and applying industrial coatings using spray equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, sanding, grinding, and removing rust, grease, and other contaminants.

Mask and protect areas that should not be painted.

Mix and apply industrial paints and coatings using spray guns and other painting equipment.

Paint large metal enclosures and skids while maintaining consistent coverage and finish quality.

Inspect completed work for defects, imperfections, and proper coating thickness.

Perform touch-ups and corrections as needed.

Clean and maintain spray guns, painting equipment, and work areas.

Follow all required safety procedures and PPE requirements when handling paints, solvents, and other chemicals.

Maintain a clean, organized work environment and report quality issues to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Previous industrial painting experience required.

Experience painting machinery, metal enclosures, skids, or other industrial equipment preferred.

Experience with spray guns and industrial coating application.

Knowledge of metal surface preparation and industrial paints/coatings.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Ability to lift and handle painting materials and equipment.

Comfortable working around paint fumes, solvents, and industrial chemicals.

Ability to wear required PPE, including respirators and safety equipment.

Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including confined spaces or elevated areas when required.
